Full Sail Recording Arts graduate and Hall of Fame inductee Sebastian Krys has spent decades making a name for himself in the music industry. He currently has eight Grammy awards and 14 Latin Grammy awards, and he’s worked with artists like Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Elvis Costello, Juanes, and many more. He’s also the President and CEO of his own Latin music company, Rebeleon Entertainment. Sebastian recently added another accolade to his list of accomplishments: He came in at number three on Billboard’s list of Top Producers of the 21st Century on their Hot Latin Songs Chart.

I just feel very fortunate to have made a living doing what I love. It's an honor to be alongside so many people [on the list] that I admire.”

The list’s rankings were based on which producers had the most number one songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart from 2000-2025. Sebastian produced and co-produced 10 number one singles from 2000-2024, including Luis Fonsi’s “Aquí estoy yo.” He also co-produced “Hoy” by Gloria Estefan and Carlos Vives’ “Déjame entrar” with Emilio Estefan, who is one of the most successful producers in the Latin music genre.

When Sebastian’s not producing hit Latin songs, he’s staying connected to the Full Sail community. Sebastian has returned to campus for the university’s Hall of Fame Week, where he’s participated in educational panels and spoken with students about their music industry dreams. He also hired Full Sail Music Business grad Veronica Concha as the Managing Director at Rebeleon Entertainment.

Although Sebastian has received lots of recognition throughout his career, following his passion for music remains a top priority.

“I was shocked and humbled to be on the Billboard list at all, let alone that high!” he says. “I just feel very fortunate to have made a living doing what I love. It's an honor to be alongside so many people [on the list] that I admire.”
