Career Support

Career development services are open to you throughout your education, as you begin to hone in on specific career goals. Our advisors partner with campus and online students to develop a career plan, helping with everything from industry advice to practice interviews. As you get ready to graduate, they will also be able to help with identifying strategies to help you find the job you’re looking for.

You’ve got goals, and our programs are designed to help you get to where you want to be. There are degree-specific professional development seminar courses included in each undergraduate program, designed to assist students in building a career strategy map, develop a personal brand, explore career opportunities, and hear from guest speakers.

Students also complete a career readiness course prior to graduation that encourages them to research the job market in their respective industries, craft a resume and write cover letters, and build a professional portfolio that can show future employers the skills they've developed throughout their program.

You’ll also participate in the Global Professionalism Standard (GPS) program, which tracks your approach to your education, behavior in class, and participation in the Full Sail community. Having a high GPS score attached to your résumé says a lot about your ability to conduct yourself professionally in a creative environment.

Throughout the year, our Industry Outreach department hosts employers for career-focused events and networking events with major employers. They also organize larger hiring events with a wide variety of companies looking for skilled graduates for both internships and permanent positions. It's all in service of connecting our graduates to opportunities across their industries.
