Production Workshop Hosted by Film Grad & Media Communications Student
Grad Sofia Adamary and student Gabriella Pedraza shared how they started their production company, Intentional Productions, and produced their first full-scale project.

On August 8, Full Sail University Film grad Sofia Adamary and Media Communications student Gabriella “GABA” Pedraza hosted an on-campus workshop for students. The workshop, titled “Building with Intention: How We Produced Five Music Videos and a Trailer in Three Days,” gave students a behind-the-scenes peek at how the pair started their company, Intentional Productions, and accomplished their first full-scale productions.
During the workshop, Sofia and Gabriella shared how they collaborated with Latin artist Jorge Franco to promote his new single, “Chamo Serio.” The duo was hired by a marketing agency, The Creative Agency, and produced several music videos and a trailer in just one weekend in Miami. Using slides to illustrate, they walked the audience through their creative process, as well as how they navigated logistics, managed production schedules, worked with the artist, and problem-solved in real-time in their roles as Director (Sofia) and Creative Producer (Gabriella).

Students from a variety of degree programs were present, including Music Business, Media Communications, and Entertainment Business. Many joined in person and a livestream was also available for remote students.
“We started [Intentional Productions] with a shared passion for creating intentional, story-driven, and culturally authentic visual content for emerging artists, especially in the Latin music industry,” said Sofia. “We wanted to build something that aligned with our values: authenticity, storytelling, and creative empowerment. Through our company, we aim to become the go-to partner for artists looking to visually elevate their work and express their identity in meaningful ways.
“We hope students walked away [from the workshop] feeling inspired and empowered to start creating, even with limited resources,” she continued. “We wanted to demystify the production process and show them that it’s possible to build something professional and intentional from the ground up with the right mindset, prep, and team. We also wanted to model what it looks like to build a company from friendship, trust, and shared creative vision, while still navigating real-world challenges with boundaries, collaboration, and care.”
