In the Brand Development course, students will utilize high-level thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills in continuing to cultivate a broad framework of branding and brand identity. Students will study brands as complex and sophisticated entities. They will explore what building a brand entails and how to reflect a company’s personality, core values, purpose, differentiation, and relationship with its customers and audiences. Students will discover the processes to build a strong brand as a valuable asset for an organization as well as how to approach it strategically, communicate it in today’s media marketplace, and imbue it across media platforms through innovative design thinking.
