The relationship between the digital realm and the tangible world is profound, complex, and shaped by those who can easily navigate the ever-expanding overlap between the two.

The User Experience bachelor of science degree goes in-depth on what factors influence UX design. Factors like psychology and perception, visual design and typography, and systems design. Students will use industry-standard workflows, research, prototypes, and testing to design their own user experiences and improve UX design for a variety of products and services, all while and developing their professional portfolio.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

Information Visualization - In this course, students will employ their visual design and user experience skills to craft visualizations based on case studies from various industries. They will learn to analyze raw qualitative and quantitative data and also visualize that data in a way that is meaningful to users.

Interactive Media Design and Usability - This course explores both behavioral and structural patterns of UI design along with information architecture (IA) for interactive deployment, user navigation techniques, and page layout for the interactive medium.

UX Production - In this course, students will plan, design, and execute targeted prototypes to address those known problematic points. The course will follow a structured problem-solving process to identify a user experience problem, design a solution, and prototype that solution.
