Full Sail Hosts Black History Month Networking Summit for Students
The university’s Student Community Association and Black Student Union hosted the online event.

On February 24, Full Sail University’s Student Community Association, along with the Black Student Union, hosted an online networking summit for students in honor of Black History Month. The goal was to create an environment where students could meet new people and build connections with fellow peers and professionals.
The event highlighted various student groups and clubs, such as Armada, the Creative Writing Club, Frequency Club, the Black Student Union, and more. Students were encouraged to join clubs that resonated with them to make the most of their time at Full Sail. Additionally, the event involved a fun trivia game featuring questions about prominent Black people with prizes for winners.
“This event offers an invaluable opportunity to engage with diverse clubs and community partners, broaden your perspectives, and build meaningful connections,” said Kincie Farnell, Full Sail’s Student Community Activities Manager. “[Participants] gain insight into the rich cultural heritage of the Black community, foster a sense of unity, and leave with the tools to contribute to a more inclusive and understanding campus environment.”
