In Full Sail’s Music Business program, students engage with marketing, publishing, artist management, retail, and other relevant skills to help them thrive in the global music industry. This year, Billboard magazine recognized Full Sail’s efforts to shape the next generation of music business professionals by including them on its 2025 list of Top Music Business Schools.

Each year, Billboard selects its top music business schools based on “industry recommendations, alum information provided by honorees from our multiple power lists, and years of reporting on educational options and information requested from the schools themselves.” The publication highlights Full Sail’s comprehensive curriculum, collaboration across programs, guest lectures, and its Artist Development Initiative as reasons for inclusion on the 2025 list.

Full Sail was included on Billboard’s 2025 list alongside institutions including Abbey Road Institute, Berklee College of Music, New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and more – underscoring the university’s continued commitment to preparing students for careers across the evolving music landscape.
