Summer Career Fair Brings Dozens of Employers to Campus
Soon-to-be-graduates and alumni gathered on campus for workshops, presentations, and networking with potential employers.

On June 11, Full Sail University hosted a Career Fair for alumni and students nearing graduation. It took place at the Full Sail Live venue, where various local companies’ representatives set up booths and talked to students and grads about their career goals and open positions in their organizations. Orlando City Soccer, Orlando Health, Walt Disney World, and more were represented, looking for new recruits for positions such as copywriters, software developers, videographers, audio/visual technicians, graphic designers, sound engineers, and many more.
Students and alumni dressed in their best businesswear milled around the Full Sail Live venue, building meaningful connections with potential employers and practicing their interview skills.
In addition to the Career Fair, Full Sail offered workshops on subjects like resume building and interview advice, panels and presentations led by industry experts, and ample opportunities to network.
“[The Career Fair] cuts all the distance and brings students and alumni face-to-face with company recruiters that have open roles available,” said Jamey Hopper, Employer Development Manager in Full Sail’s Career Development department. “No websites, no application portals, just everything right at the students’ fingertips as they got to make the impact for themselves [in person]. [I hope students got] to experience meeting employers and advancing their interview skills.”
