For the second consecutive year, EA Sports' Madden NFL Championship Series competition will be taking place on Full Sail’s campus.

The MCS 26 Kickoff Challenge – the first of four competitions in the series – will take place at the Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress on September 10. This LAN event features eight of the world’s top Madden NFL 26 players competing for $150,000 in prize money and an opportunity to earn MCS points. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the action in the Fortress and via livestream.

Forty-plus Full Sail grads worked on both EA’s Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26, two of the premier football video games released this year.

Upcoming events in the MCS 26 series, also being held at Full Sail, include the Most Feared Challenge on October 15, the Zero Chill Challenge on December 10, and the Last Chance Qualifier on January 21, 2026.

This year, EA's esports group will once again lean on Full Sail’s talent to assist in the broadcast production for each competition. Students and grads will have the chance to get hands-on experience with key production roles such as camera operation, lighting, and streaming. As part of a newly expanded partnership, EA is exploring additional opportunities for content creation on Full Sail’s campus surrounding this year’s series as well.

In addition, for the second year in a row, EA will contribute to a scholarship fund for Full Sail students.

Forty-plus Full Sail grads worked on both EA’s Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26, two of the premier football video games released this year. Hosting the MCS event on campus is simply another way in which Full Sail continues to assist EA Sports in producing high-quality entertainment.

Viewers can check out all the action from the competitions on the EA Sports’ Madden NFL Twitch and YouTube channels.
