The Princeton Review Dubs Full Sail a 2026 Top Game School

The university’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs were included in the Princeton Review’s 2026 lists of Top Game Design Schools.

Education organization The Princeton Review recently included Full Sail University’s degree programs in their yearly lineup of top schools in the country for studying game design. Full Sail’s undergraduate programs were highlighted in the Top 50 Game Design: Undergraduate 2026 list, while the Game Design master's program was featured on the Top 25 Game Design 2026: Grad list.

Blackmoor Studios

This collaborative space mimics a real-world game studio, with conference areas, office spaces, and presentation areas for students to plan, build, and present their video game projects.

Fabrication Lab

Simulation Engineering students use this workshop to design and build their own tools with equipment like laser scanners, 3D printers, and CNC milling machines.

UX Lab

Students in Game degree programs conduct user experience tests in this lab. They determine how much a user enjoys their interaction with a piece of technology by evaluating eye movement, heart rate, sweat production, and other physiological measurements.

VR/AR Lab

In the VR/AR Lab, students can use headsets from companies like Oculus, Microsoft, and Magic Leap to develop virtual and augmented reality applications.

Studio V1: Virtual Production

Students in Full Sail’s Game Art program help develop real-time virtual backgrounds using game engines like Unreal Engine in Studio V1, Full Sail’s multi-million-dollar virtual production studio.

Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress

The Fortress is the largest collegiate esports arena in the country, with 11,200 square feet providing space for up to 100 esports athletes and 500 spectators. It’s also home to Armada, Full Sail’s official esports team.

Full Sail’s 2,743-square-foot campus gaming and esports center features a state-of-the-art production studio, dedicated gameplay areas, and broadcast and streaming facilities, inviting students to connect and share their passion for games.
