Josh Gudwin

Producer, Composer & Mix Engineer

Josh Gudwin is a seven-time Grammy and nine-time Latin Grammy–winning mix engineer, record producer, vocal producer, and musician, as well as a Marine Corps veteran.

After graduating from Full Sail University, he began his career at Record Plant Studios in Hollywood, earning early credits with T-Pain, T.I., Keyshia Cole, and Lionel Richie. By 2013, Josh began a long-term collaboration with Justin Bieber, contributing across 12 major releases — including Purpose, Changes, Justice, and SWAG 1 & 2 — while serving in roles spanning producer, A&R, composer, and mixer. His work also includes “Despacito (Remix)” by Luis Fonsi & Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” “New Rules,” and “Houdini,” and all five of Bad Bunny’s landmark albums, along with projects for J Balvin, Tainy, BLACKPINK, Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Karol G, Shakira, Rauw Alejandro, and others.

In 2020, Dolby Studios partnered with Josh to design a custom Dolby Atmos suite at the historic Chaplin Studios lot in Hollywood (formerly Henson), where both his stereo and immersive mix rooms are now based. He has completed more than 1,400 immersive mixes across pop, Latin, and hip-hop catalogs, including work for Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, J Balvin, Karol G, Snoop Dogg, The Doobie Brothers, and Bad Bunny.

In 2025, Josh earned two more Latin Grammy wins — Best Urban Music Album and Album of the Year — for Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos. That momentum continued into 2026, when the album won the same two categories at the Grammy Awards.

Josh has also served as Co-Chair of The Recording Academy’s Los Angeles Chapter P&E Wing and as a two-term Governor on the Los Angeles Chapter Board.
