Full Sail Announces New Student Housing Community
Dream Lofts, a dedicated residential community for Full Sail students, is a major step forward in enhancing the campus experience.
Every day, campus students at Full Sail University pursue their dreams by getting hands-on in their classes and connecting with their peers – and a coming development will give them a new way to immerse themselves in the university’s culture. Full Sail is excited to announce Dream Lofts at Full Sail University, a new student housing complex designed to support and enhance the student experience.
Set to break ground immediately, Dream Lofts will be located just across from campus on the north side of University Boulevard, and will feature a pedestrian walkway bridge connecting the complex to Full Sail's academic buildings and campus resources. The bridge will provide students with a safe, well-lit passage across University Boulevard, while serving as a striking architectural landmark.
“Having a vibrant student housing resource such as the Dream Lofts at Full Sail University in close proximity to our campus is an extraordinary evolution in Full Sail’s 45-plus year history and can only further support the needs of our students who will choose Dream Lofts as their accommodations during their Full Sail campus experience,” said Full Sail University President, Garry Jones.
For more than 45 years, Full Sail has focused on building a campus where creative, innovative students can pursue a real-world education, with facilities that rival the professional industry. This new student development gives us yet another way to support our students and allow them to focus on their education and career goals.
Dream Lofts will be a five-story residential community with approximately 180 units and more than 570 beds in its first construction phase, with apartment layouts ranging from one to four bedrooms. Designed with students in mind, Dream Lofts will offer amenities open to all residents, including a central courtyard, fitness center, resort-style pool, outdoor gathering spaces, creative lounges, and a clubhouse. The rooms will also feature high-speed fiber connectivity and built-in media workspaces, while the facility will have integrated safety features like secure parking, building access control, and indoor bike storage.
Terian Group is leading the construction and overseeing the long-term management of Dream Lofts. Additional construction phases are planned for future development, with a goal of ultimately bringing the total community to approximately 1,800 beds for Full Sail students.
Dream Lofts is projected to open in 2028 after the first phase of construction is complete.
